These earrings are a collaborative effort with artist Tempist Jade. We have united our creative expression through her beadwork and my metalwork, alchemizing our individual experiences and places of inspiration and together have dreamed up these unique and special designs.
Antler pieces are held and surrounded by multiple hand beaded layers, backed with repurposed leather by Tempist Jade and finished with graduated hand hammered and formed metal fringe by Studio451Jewelry. Antler is sourced from the sheds of bucks on the lands where Tempist resides. Beads used in these designs are a mix of glass beads -charlotte cut and Czech glass with micro crystal beads along the edges.
Red earrings feature two tones of red beads nesting a teardrop shaped antler piece, with an outer edge of silver and gold tone beads. Backed with suede leather. Brass fringe is attached with a brass bar. Hooks are 14k gold plated and total length is 4.5 inches.
